(Please allow time for parking) St Mary’s Church, Frensham, GU10 3E Surviving During an All-Out War
Interventions in the West Bank and Gaza During War Time At a time of severe crisis in the region, HIRN continues its humanitarian work on behalf of the most marginalised and threatened communities in the South Hebron Hills and the Bethlehem Governorate. Through a sister organisation in Gaza, it is supporting work with the traumatised population, especially women and children.
From life-changing interventions with individuals, to spirit-lifting community work with those who have received no salary for 6 months, HIRN explores new routes to give besieged people hope. It is a low-profile group, staffed by volunteers. There are no overheads, so 100% of our donations go to Palestinians who need our help. HIRN sends out regular emails updating supporters about the latest projects. A number of us have been to Hebron and seen the effect they have on the ground. The presentation will look at HIRN's work during the six months of the war in both geographic locations, followed by Q & A. For further information please contact [email protected]
