Palestine between Two Pandemics: COVID-19 and Occupation

Hebron International Resources Network (HIRN) is a local Palestinian organization, established in 2010 to support Palestinian communities in both Hebron and Bethlehem. It has a particularly strong focus on communities closest to Israeli settlements in an attempt to meet their needs in terms of basic infrastructure, education facilities and welfare basic services.
In 2020 – with the onset of COVID-19 – HIRN were called on to build a C19 testing centre, supply equipment (beds, ventilator systems etc), and assist the communities who were isolated by the virus.

Note that all of the HIRN team are volunteers and depend on individual donations to get things done.
