Attending the fair will be companies supplying weapons and military technology used in Israel’s militarised repression of Palestinians, this includes Elbit Systems, Rafael, BAE Systems and Lockheed Martin


Who: PSC and Campaign against the arms trade

PSC is supporting Campaign Against Arms Trade (CAAT) and Greater Rushmoor Action for Peace in opposing the Farnborough war show. 
West Surrey PSC and local Quakers groups will be represented.

From 10.30am -11.30am Quakers will be holding a meeting for Worship, candle lighting silent vigil, witness testimony, and speakers.

Time / Location: 9:00-17:00

Peaceful protest from 9.00am till 5.00pm

Assemble from 9am on the public area of the junction of Government House Rd and Queens Gate Rd (near Queens Roundabout), Farnborough
Parking at Napier Gardens GU14 6EF or Peabody Road Car Park GU14 6ER



What is Farnborough International Airshow?

• The show welcomes companies from core sectors across the aerospace industry including makers of planes, helicopters, missiles, drones, satellites/space, components and maintenance.
• This year sees a heavy presence from Arms companies including Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Raytheon, Leonardo, Elbit Systems, Rafael and many more.
• Opposition is expected from groups worried about weapons being sold into conflicts around the world, causing death and destruction not least in Yemen and Palestine.
• This is a shop window for the world’s arms dealers.
• Many repressive regimes come to choose weapons.
