Assemble 12noon Bank Junction, EC3V 3LA London Full Ceasefire Now – Stop the War on Gaza Israel has resumed its horrific military assault against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Now more than 15,000 Palestinians including 6,000 children have already been killed by Israel in the past 2 months. Join us in the streets of London for our National March for Palestine on Saturday 9th December to call for a full ceasefire and an end to the war on Gaza. Please note that this is Ceasefire Vigil ... not a political rally   The vigil will focus on the deaths of the thousands of children and babies killed by indiscriminate bombing of residential buildings and hospitals by Israel since 7th October.
The plan for this vigil is different to previous vigils: Initially, we will gather in Commercial Way at 1pm, and then split into smaller groups around the shopping area to reach out to as many members of the public as possible. Childrens shoes will be laid out in a designated area with names and photos of some of the children . If you are able to volunteer and help with the preparation work, printing, laminating, advertising the event prior to the event, support with setting up, or any other way during the 2 hour vigil, please email westsurreypsc@gmail.com with your name and contact details. We are asking for volunteers to support setting up event from 12:30 on the day. Volunteers are also needed to hold photos of children in different locations in the town centre. Israel is not stopping its bombardment of Gaza, so we will not stop marching for a ceasefire. Last time 800 000 of us were on the streets in London.
